Winter Carnival Snow Statues
Michigan Tech has a winter carnival tradition. Every year student organizations compete in a snow statue competition. This year's theme was "Cartoon Art for the Young at Heart". There were over 45 snow statues built this year. The competition begins 1 month before winter carnival and judging is the first day of carnival break. Its really amazing to see what these engineers are capable of. These pictures don't do it justice. I have put a pictures on here of quite a few but there are so many more.
