IT'S SNOW TIME

This is the "snow meter". If you will notice I am standing next to it (inside the box labeled Me). In 1978 the UP had its highest snowfall record...32.2 ft which is about 384 inches of snow. I figured it would be appropriate to post this now because we have jsut started to get snow this past week. It is currently snowing right now...even though nothing is sticking yet. I was getting worried seeing as how its been warm and the snow usually comes by the end of October. It almost had me convinced that i brought some snowless curse to the land of the UP. I can't wait to go SKI!!!

Well Mel, it's just a matter of time now and the white stuff will be there to stay for awhile. We even have a winter storm watch for the Twin Cities for Tues. so you might need to strap those skis on when you head home this weekend...let it SNOW!!!!
Do you have any pictures of the recent snowfall so we can watch the flakes climb up the snow meter? Some did fall didn't it?
Hi Melissa, It's a good thing you pointed yourself out or I would have missed you. I need reading glasses for little things these days. Have a great time with your family over Thanksgiving break and enjoy the cabin. My kids are bummed they won,t be able to come this year -no moola! We got Sara moved into her own little apartment Sat. She's not far from
Uncle Jim's and Aunt Char's. Today is her first day at her new job. I sure hope she likes it. Keep sending those pics especially the snow

Hi, Melissa,
It is so much fun reading you blog.
Love the pictures, the fall ones are beautiful. So happy you are doing so well and able to let us be a part of your college - university life.
I am just so proud of you, the tears are coming as I write.
Love,
